First Mobile Release
The ReflectHub mobile app is a field companion to the dashboard for iOS and Android, built for the people on site: log time, keep the diary, photograph receipts, and check drawings without waiting to get back to a laptop. It is deliberately not the whole product in a smaller window — office work stays in the browser, one tap away. This first release goes to invited testers.
Sign in with an emailed code or with Google or Facebook, using the same account as the dashboard. Sessions are stored securely on the device and refresh themselves, so an invited user simply signs in and lands in their project. Accounts that have not finished setup are pointed to the browser rather than dropped into a half-finished state.
Project-First Navigation
The app opens on your active project and remembers it per company; switching is a tap on the project name. Four destinations — Project, My work, Receipts, and Settings — stay within reach throughout. The project home shows live counts for open and overdue tasks, diary drafts and entries this week, receipts waiting to send, and team headcount. Anything the app does not do hands off to the browser rather than dead-ending.
Tasks on Site
Project tasks are listed by stage with search, and task detail does real work: change status, close and reopen, assign, set due and start dates, edit the estimate, manage tags, log your own time, and attach photos or files from the camera, library, or file picker. Comments support @mentions drawn from the project team, and mentions arrive in a notifications list under My work with unread badges and deep links into the task.
My Work and Time
My work shows today's logged total and your open tasks across every project, alongside a read-only weekly timesheet. Log time opens a quick modal — hours and a note, prefilled when you come from a task, with a task picker when you don't.
Site Diary in the Field
The diary composer leads with what happened, with weather prefilled automatically, crew count and hours, work start and end times, quantity and unit, performer, an optional task link, and photos straight from the camera. Drafts confirm and confirmed entries amend, as on the dashboard. Dictation is now available: record a note and the transcript is appended to the description, with a live timer, an editable transcript to review before inserting, and a retry that reuses the same recording so a network failure never loses it. Clips run up to five minutes, and the spoken language is detected automatically across 13 languages including English, German, and Russian; Estonian is not yet supported. Recordings are transcribed and discarded. Neither the audio nor the transcript is kept on our side.
Receipt Capture
Photograph a receipt and the expense form is prefilled — vendor, amounts, dates — for review before it posts to the active project with the photo attached. Capture is built for bad signal: a failed submission becomes a local draft that resumes where it left off, without repeating completed steps or losing the photo.
Plans, Documents, and Models
Plans are grouped by category, every sheet opens with its version banner and picker over the real revision chain, and anything opened once reopens offline. Images pinch-zoom in the app, and PDFs render in-app on iOS. New in this release, IFC and DXF models open in a built-in viewer with fit, zoom, view presets, and per-layer visibility, with a size warning before heavy models load. The viewer runs entirely on the device — models are never uploaded anywhere to be displayed. Formats the app cannot render offer an open-in-browser hand-off instead of a dead end.
Plan Pins and Photo Markups
Long-press an image plan sheet to drop a numbered pin. Each pin carries a title, description, comment thread, photo attachments, task linking, and resolve or reopen, anchored to the exact sheet version so a new revision never moves it silently. On PDF sheets the app cannot place pins on the drawing itself, so they appear as a list beneath the viewer, with placement handed off to the dashboard. Photos can be marked up before upload with freehand, arrow, and ellipse tools, from every capture point: task photos, diary photos, and pin photos. What uploads is what everyone sees.
iPad Support
The app supports all four orientations, Split View, and Slide Over. On wide screens, Tasks, Site diary, and Plans switch to master–detail layouts with the list beside the detail or drawing, and the weekly timesheet fits without horizontal scrolling.
Accessibility
VoiceOver and TalkBack labels include due dates and unread state, screen readers get header navigation, status is never carried by color alone, and text scales with the system accessibility settings.
Scope Notes
Online-First by Design
Previously viewed documents, plans, and models reopen offline, and receipt drafts survive an outage. There is no offline editing queue for tasks, comments, or diary entries — saves fail into a retryable state rather than appearing to succeed.
Not Yet Available
There are no push notifications yet; mentions and notifications refresh when you open the app. On Android, PDFs open in the system viewer rather than in-app.
Browser-Only for Now
RFQs, CRM, finance, reports, documents, pages, questionnaires, employee management, and company settings remain in the browser, reachable from the hand-off directory in Settings.
Stay Synchronized
Receive detailed technical specifications of new features directly in your inbox.
